A meeting of prominent BJP functionaries from Haryana's six parliamentary constituencies of Sirsa, Hisar, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Gurgaon and Faridabad was held here yesterday to discuss arrangements for the rally being organised by the party's state ex-servicemen cell.
Jagdish Mukhi, in-charge of party affairs in Haryana, said Modi himself has expressed a desire to address the ex-servicemen at Rewari, known for its contribution to the armed forces.
Sources said efforts are being made to ensure that retired army personnel from Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and National Capital Region comprising Delhi attend the rally.
