Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Smriti Irani had earlier approached Swaraj, seeking help in bringing back the body of Yusuf.
"The mortal remains of Mohd Yusuf of Amethi will reach Lucknow from Riyadh on January 1, 2016 by flight... At 1410 hours," Swaraj tweeted.
Following Swaraj's tweet, Irani expressed her gratitude in a post. "Thank you for helping the family, Mam, grateful for the quick response we got from you and your office," Irani said.
Irani had then reportedly called up the family assuring all help in the matter.
According to reports, the family came to know that on December 10, Yusuf had died in Riyadh, where he had been employed as a driver since September last year.
