Moong, rajmah rise on increased buying

Prices of moong and rajmah were higher by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on increased buying by stockists following uptick in demand from retailers.
Traders said stockists buying due to pick up in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing regions mainly attributed the rise in moong and rajmah prices.
In the national capital, moong and its dal chilka local moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,600-5,300 and Rs 5,300- 5,500 per quintal, respectively. Its dal dhoya local and best followed suit and traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 5,900-6,400 and Rs 6,400-6,600 per quintal.

Rajmah chitra also enquired higher by Rs 100 to Rs 7,600-10,400 per quintal.
