More rains likely in Odisha due to deep depression, IMD

More rains are likely in the southern and northern districts of Odisha with the depression concentrating into a deep depression today.
An IMD bulletin said that the depression over south Odisha and adjoining Chhatisgarh has moved west-northwestwards and concentrated into a deep depression.
With the system likely to move west-northwestwards during the next 48 hours, heavy rainfall might occur at one or two places in the interior districts of the state during the next 24 hours, it said.
Rain or thundershower may occur at many places over south Odisha and a few places over north Odisha under its influence, it added.
