More rains likely in UP

South west monsoon remained active over eastern parts and normal in western parts of Uttar Pradesh with the weatherman forecasting more rains in the coming days.
Areas like Misrikh received 20 cm of rainfall, Ayodhya 18 cm, Nighasan 16 cm, Sultanpur 12 cm, Handia 10 cm, Ankinghat, Mau and Chillaghat 7 cm each, Met office said.
It added rain or thundershower was very likely at most places over the state on August 2 and August 3.
