MP CM slams Congress for fuel price hike

"The rise in diesel prices would lead to escalation in prices of all commodities and severely hit farmers," the Chief Minister told reporters here.

He said that the new system of pricing gas cylinders can deal a big blow to the joint family system prevalent in India.

The imposition of cap on number of subsidised cylinders at six per year may force people to give up the traditional joint-family system, he said.
