"I urge the government to impress upon the Bangladesh government to control the violence... And create a good atmosphere (for minorities)," BJD member Bhartruhari Mahtab said during Zero Hour.
Quoting various reports, he noted that many temples and homes of Hindus have been vandalised by Islamic activists.
Mahtab also urged all political parties to condemn violence against Hindus in Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, another BJD member Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo asked the government to take steps to provide social security to migrant labourers working in difficult conditions.
Dilip Kumar Mansukhlal Gandhi (BJP) raised the issue of wrestling being removed as a sporting event from the Olympics.
He alleged that there is an international conspiracy to keep Indian wrestlers away from the Olympics.
