Kanhere took charge today, an official release said.
He replaced Srikrishna Sharma who has been transferred as the Principal of Government College, Narsinghgarh in Rajgarh district.
Sharma was relieved from his post on June 18, it said.
Kanhere was earlier posted as Principal of the Government Girls College, Barwani.
