MP Manoj Tiwari inaugurates municipal school in Delhi

BJP Lok Sabha MP from North-East Delhi Manoj Tiwari today inaugurated a new municipal school building, built with "earthquake-resistance" and "rainwater harvesting" features, the NDMC said.
The primary school built at a cost of over Rs 212 lakh and within 13 months time, was opened in the capital's Indira Vihar area.
On the occasion, Mayor of North Delhi Municipal Corporation Yogender Chandolia describing some of the features of the building said, the NDMC was fast developing such buildings at its schools.
"The building is earth-quake resistant, has the system of rainwater harvesting in place and also has a ramp at the ground-floor. It also has separate toilet facilities for differently-abled students. The building will provide a conducive environment for the students for studying," Chandolia said.

The school building has six classrooms, one store room, one computer room, one library room, one science room, one staff room and six toilets, three each for girls and boys, the NDMC said in a statement.
Tiwari, an actor-turned-politician, appreciated the work of the civic body and said, "Children are the future of the country and providing them with good infrastructure at schools means investments for the better future of the country.
