MP stood second among the states in economic growth (GSDP) rate at 11.98 per cent in the same period against the all-India average of 6.48 per cent, an official press release said.
The per capita income in the state increased by 19.89 per cent at Rs 38,669 in 2011-12, compared to the previous year.
Madhya Pradesh's economic growth rate during the 11th Five-Year Plan (2007-12) was 10.20 per cent, whereas all-India average was 7.67 per cent, the release said.
Also, the state achieved 9.04 per cent agricultural growth rate during the 11th Five-Year Plan period, against the national average of 2.48 per cent, it added.
