The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government to establish and manage Institute of Driving Training and Traffic Research (IDTR) at Venkatachalam village in Darsi in Prakasham district, MSI said in a statement.
Around 20 acres of land for the project will be provided by the Andhra Pradesh government and MSI will run and manage the institute.
The facility would consist of an institute building, a hostel and training tracks. The infrastructure is expected to be complete by 2018.
At present, MSI manges six ITDRs in the country. Two of the facilities are in Delhi, two in Haryana and one each in Gujarat and Uttarakhand. Another facility is under construction in Aurangabad, Bihar.
