Opposition People Democratic Party (PDP) today claimed that some "unscrupulous" elements are operating "fake" profiles in the name of party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on social networking sites.
"Some unscrupulous persons have opened fake Twitter and Facebook accounts in the name of Sayeed," a PDP spokesman said
He said the former chief minister does not operate any account on these social networking sites.
"Twitter and Facebook accounts in Sayeed's names on the social networking sites are fake and the posts on these two social networking sites are not attributed to him," he said.
