Mulayam holds Centre responsible for state's power woes

After Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav today held the Centre responsible for the power woes of the state.
"Central government is not providing coal which has led to power crisis in the state", Yadav said addressing an election rally in Karhal here.
Bypolls for Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat would be held on September 13.
The SP chief had won the seat in the general elections but the need for bypolls arose after Mulayam, who had also an MP from Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat, decided to vacate the Mainpuri seat.
Yadav stressed that communal forces would be defeated in the state and his party would deal with them.
He also attacked the BJP and took a promise from the voters to ensure the victory of his party nominee from the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat by a record margin.
He also attacked Gujarat model of development saying their was a vast difference between the words and actions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Recalling his long association with the people of the constituency, he said as per the met department forcast the region is likely to get rain and thundershowers on the polling day on September 13 but they will have to brave it and vote to ensure the victory of his party.
