In the affidavit submitted with his nomination papers in Mainpuri today, Yadav has agriculture land worth Rs 7.89 crores in Etawah, a plot worth Rs 22.50 lakhs and a residential house worth Rs 2.45 crores (also in Etawah).
Other property includes an ancestral house in Saifai, which he claims is worth only Rs 3 lakhs.
As per the affidavit his wife Sadhana has a commercial property worth Rs 1.22 crore in Lucknow besides a house worth Rs 70 lakhs.
His wife has Rs 28,000 in cash, one Toyota Camry car valued over Rs 17 lakhs, jewellery worth Rs 1.93 crore, besides deposits in different banks totalling around Rs 10 lakhs.
According to the affidavit, Yadav filed Rs 23.77 lakhs as income tax return in 2013-2014 and his wife showed the returns at Rs. 1.85 lakhs.
