Addressing a rally after filing his nomination today for Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat, Mulayam said that Modi's professed sympathy towards farmers about development is a "bunch of lies".
He said that Modi should compete with SP on the parameters of development.
The SP supremo claimed that Modi has "500 kurtas and he changes five time a day", what he would know about the pains of the poor.
He said that a person "gets vitamin C by chewing paan", whereas tea was harmful for the health.
Mulayam claimed that as compared to Uttar Pradesh, farmers get costly fertiliser and power in Gujarat and alleged that during Modi's rule in Gujarat 7,000 people had died due to starvation.
He claimed that UP was better from Gujarat in every term.
The SP supremo alleged that majority of the industrialists of the country were in Gujarat and Modi was contesting election "on their money power".
