The Mumbai unit of Congress will organise a human chain against terrorism on former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's 72nd birth anniversary tomorrow.
"Senior leaders of Congress, including former Maharashtra Chief Ministers Prithviraj Chavan and Ashok Chavan, along with workers and students, will form a human chain at Marine Drive," Mumbai Regional Congress Committee (MRCC) president Sanjay Nirupam said.
"Many Congress leaders have sacrificed their lives in the fight against terrorism. We all should take a pledge to continue that fight," he added.
