The flight (9W-010) was scheduled to take off at 9.50 AM but the rescheduled flight left at 3.45 PM after the airline changed the aircraft, airport sources said.
The rescheduled flight carried only 32 passengers, as 69 others had to fly for other destinations from Singapore and the long delay could have led to they missing the connecting flights, sources said.
"Jet Airways flight 9W 010 from Mumbai to Singapore returned to bay twice following a technical snag, resulting in the flight being rescheduled," Jet Airways said in a statement here.
