Mumbai trekker dies during hike in Nashik district

A 27-year-old trekker from Mumbai died after falling 250 feet into a valley along Gadsangvi fort in Nashik district this morning, police said.
Hemendra Adharrao, resident of Shrikrishna Nagar in Borivili in north Mumbai, was part of a group 14 trekkers.
The fort is about 4 km from Vadivhare village.
The incident took place around 10.30 am, police said.
The body has been shifted to the Nashik civil hospital for post mortem, police said.
