Composer Vishal Dadlani believes Bollywood films and its music can be a powerful tool to send across an important message to people.
The iconic track "Dil Toh Paagal Hai" from Yash Chopra's cult classic of the same name has been re-rendered. The new version, in collaboration with Dadlani, has been sung by 6 Pack Band 2.0 comprising six specially-abled children.
Asked if such causes can be highlighted through Bollywood films and songs, Dadlani said, "It can and it should be done, it's very important. Music is not just entertainment it also has a quality to send a message to people's hearts."
Dadlani said though he would have never touched the song, he is glad to be a part of it because of the cause and how the "message has come out so organically and reached people."
