Muslim community in Mizoram celebrates Eid

The Muslim community in Mizoram today celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of 'Ramzan', with religious fervour across the state.
Thousands of Muslims offered namaz at the Assam Rifles ground here and prayed for peace and communal harmony in the state and the rest of the world.
The day was celebrated by Muslim devotees in other parts of the state.
Police officials said Eid-ul Fitr celebration was peaceful across the state.
