"All credit should go to my mom, who goaded me to take up the stage," Prima told PTI after basking in the success of the first show of Ulta Seedha, a Hindi comedy drama about young and old married couples.
Prima, who found it a bit unnerving to interact before a live audiience, said if one can evolve as an actor on stage, she won't feel goosebumps to shoot before the camera.
"Both are different forms of acting but acting afterall. If you shed the inhibitions, you act both ways," she said.
"Together we will feature in a Hindi film in future," she said.
Biswajit said, Prima's debut on stage years after celluloid venture Adorini, reminded him of his own acting stint in a Bimal Mitra production years back.
"I had also a tryst with long time friend Soumitra Chatterjee in Mumbai as Nilkantha," Biswajit recalled.
