The 43-year-old singer, who married the Formula 1 boss last year, said she can truly be herself around him, reported Femalefirst.
"My husband is my best friend. He knows me inside out, I don't edit myself with him. It was a big learning curve," Geri said.
The songtress has learned to accept herself for who she is and thinks being happy is the key to looking good.
