The woman, a resident of Singhati Kalupara area under Dhubulia police station area, has two minor children, police said.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the woman was strangulated to death and a case of murder initiated.
Mother of the deceased said her daughter had strained relationship with her husband Taiyab Shaikh of Kolupara and living with her parents.
Police said the body was recovered this morning with strangulation marks.
The mother said, the woman went missing yesterday (Thursday) afternoon and didn't return.
The deceased was a dancer in different bars along the NH-34 and towns in Nadia and Murshidabad.
