Nadoja to be conferred on March 6

The Kannada University at Hampi would be conferring Nadoja, a honorary degree equivalent to D.Litt, to three eminent persons--Dr.P.S. Shankar(Medical literature), Prof.M.H.Krishnayya (Art critic)and S.R.Ramaswamy (Journalist).
The honour Nadoja, which means "teacher to the land", is in recognition of contributions in the fields of literature, judiciary and research, H.C.Boralingaiah Vice-chancellor, told reporters.
It would be conferred at the 23rd "Nudi Habba" (convocation) by Governor and Chancellor of the University Vajubhai Vala on March 6, he said.
