Nandkumar Singh Chouhan set to be re-elected as MP BJP chief

Madhya Pradesh BJP president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan is set to be re-elected unopposed as the state's party chief for a second term .
Only Nandkumar filed his nomination for the coveted post of the ruling BJP in the state and he will be declared elected unopposed soon, state BJP media in-charge Hitesh Bajpai said.
The Khandwa MP took the reins of the party for the remaining term of the then state BJP president, Narendra Singh Tomar who after BJP came to power at the Centre became Union Minister for Steel and Mines.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan proposed the name of Nandkumar for the second term and the relevant papers were submitted to the state party election observer and former MP, Ramdas Agrawal.

He remained on the seat for one-and-a-half years and party leaders including Tomar, BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijaywargiya and vice president Prabhat Jha among others, supported his candidature for the second term.
Agrawal will formally announce the result tomorrow.
