The temples of Brajbhumi reverberated with devotional songs today as 'Nandotsava' was celebrated here with gaiety and devotional fervour.
Secretary of Sri Krishna Janmasthan Kapil Sharma said 'Nandotsava' was celebrated in the temples of Nandgaon, Mathura and Vrindaban.
Earlier, last night the pilgrims remained thrilled when clock struck twelve and the curtain from sanctum sanctorum of Bhagwat Bhavan temple was taken off to mark the birth of Lord Krishna.
No untoward incident has taken place during the festival, SP, City, Manoj Sonkar said.
Meanwhile, prasadam was distributed among several lakh devotees at Sri Krishna Janmasthan, Sharma said.
