"The Chief Minister has written twice to the Prime Minister. I will take up the issue with the Prime Minister for additional power to Tamil Nadu," he told reporters here.
His comments came in the wake of Jayalalithaa's letter to PM Manmohan Singh yesterday demanding reallocation of over 1,700 mw of power proposed to be surrendered by Delhi Government.
She has also been making repeated demands for allocating the entire power to be produced from Kudankulam Nuclear Power plant to the state in view of the severe power shortage. The demand-supply gap stands around 4000 mw.
