Nasik Kumbh to start from Aug 19 next year

Nasik Kumbh will begin from August 19 next year, chief priest of Ayodhya's famous Hanuman Garhi temple and president of Akhara Parishad said here today.
He also announced the dates for 'shahi snan' (royal grand bath).
"Nasik Kumbh will begin from August 19 next year and the 'shahi snan' (royal grand bath) will take place on August 29, 2015 and September 13 and 18 next year in the river Godawri," Mahant Gyan Das said.
A high-powered committee of holy men of Ramanand community (the community that prays Lord Rama), led by Mahant Gyan Das, has chalked out the final programme for Nasik Kumbh and advised the Maharashtra government for vast preparations.

According to Das, more that 10 crores devotees, including holy men, will gather in Nasik Kumbh in the Kumbh period of about a month.
