The city-based company had registered a net profit of Rs 11.32 crore in the same period a year ago, Natco Pharma said in a statement.
It posted a 13 per cent jump in its gross revenue at Rs 200 crore in the reported quarter as against Rs 176 crore in the same period last year, it said.
"The turnover and the profit growth was driven by strong performance on account of export of finished dosage formulations to North America and South America in addition to growth in the domestic oncology products division by 17 per cent," Natco said.
The company reported in 2013-14 a net profit of Rs 103 crore, as against Rs 72 crore a year ago, it added.
