The announcement was made during an Emmy panel for the show held at the streamer's FYSee space in Beverly Hills, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sara Rue, Lucy Punch and Roger Bart will also join other returning cast members from season one, such as series star Neil Patrick Harris, Alfre Woodard, K Todd Freeman, Patrick Warburton, Malina Weissman, Louis Hynes and Presley Smith.
A launch date for the second season, currently in production, has yet to be revealed.
Based on the series of books by Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler), the original drama from Paramount Television recounts the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans - Violet, Klaus, and Sunny - whose evil uncle Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance.
