The sub-junior category will be in the age group of under-18 while challengers will be open to all, it was announced here today.
The event will be preceded by the 45th K C Mahindra All India Invitation School Regatta at the Lake Club from May 28- June 3.
Students from Lucknow and Chandigarh are expected to throw a strong challenge for home-grown rowers in the week- long competition which will be held in heats plus repechage formats.
Over 300 students from Bengal, Lucknow and Chandigarh from 38 schools will vie for top honours in junior and senior categories.
The regatta is open for boys and girls in senior (class 9-11) and junior category (up to class 10).
