The bodies of the youths, identified as Manish Yadav (17) and Pakhel Gond (25), bearing bullet injuries were found this morning near Kumharwada village under Bakarkatta police station limits, RajnandgaonSuperintendentof Police Sundarraj P told PTI.
Yadav, a native of Kumharwada, was studying in a local government school. Gond was a resident of nearby Dariakoda village.
A group of armed cadres dragged out both Yadav and Gond from their native villages and allegedly shot them dead, the SP said.
They then dumped their bodies on Bakarkatta-Rampur road, he said.
Preliminary investigation suggested that the ultras suspected them of being policeinformers. However, they were never in contact with the police, the SP said.
Meanwhile, a combing operation has been launched in the region to nab the assailants, he said.
