Ahmed, elder brother of PDP MLA Choudhry Zulfkar Ali, had joined the National Conference on February four this year.
"Within one month of joining the National Conference, I realised that it was against twin border districts of Poonch and Rajouri.
"So, I decided to quit the party and join the PDP to serve the people," Ahmed said accusing the National Conference of exploiting people of Poonch and Rajouri.
"The PDP leadership has vision to fulfil aspirations of all regions and sub-regions of the state," he said joining the PDP.
