The delegation sought the Governor's intervention for normalisation of the situation while expressing grave concern over the pellet injuries suffered by the youth during the violence following the killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani.
Led by Khanyar MLA Ali Mohd Sagar, the delegation also demanded urgent action for providing adequate medical care to the injured people, an official spokesperson said.
"The delegation also highlighted other concerns and problems faced by the people in different parts of the Valley, including non-availability of essential commodities," he said.
"Assuring attention to the issues raised, the Governor urged the National Conference leaders to play a positive role in the peaceful resolution of all outstanding problems," the spokesperson said.
