The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) destroyed over 435 kilograms of seized drugs at a facility here today.
Officials said various categories of narcotics like heroin (24.44 kg), cannabis (77 kg), hashish (130.30 kg), cocaine (.71 kg), pseudoephedrine (191.59 kg) among others was burnt.
"These drugs, totalling 435.04 kilograms, were seized by the agency over a period of time in various narcotics crime cases. A Delhi-based incinerator was used to burn these items," a senior official of the Delhi zonal unit of the NCB said.
The NCB is the national agency to coordinate action of various enforcement departments against the drugs menace.
