The public hearing is being organised by NCPCR along with Haryana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
NCPCR has received 21 complaints relating to violation of RTE and child rights from the area, an NCPCR statement said today.
The Commission has also asked the victim children and their parents in Faridabad, Mewat, Palwal, Rewari, Narnaul and Gurgaon to send their complaints to district officers concerned by October 31.
NCPCR's mandate is to ensure that all laws, policies, programmes and administrative mechanisms are in consonance with the children's rights perspective as enshrined in the Constitution and also the UN Convention on the rights of the child.
