Nearly 27,000 HIV positive cases detected in Thane, Palghar

IEC Joint Director Vilas Deshpande announced here today that around 27,000 HIV positive cases have been detected in Thane and Palghar.
While inagurating a two-day medical meet he appealed to civic bodies and NGOs to make efforts to eradicate AIDS in these districts.
NGOs and private companies were asked to participate in a programme to create awareness among citizens to eradicate such cases.
