Network18 launches Amplify18

Diversified media firm Network18 today launched Amplify18, an entertainment, lifestyle and brand amplification entity.
The new entity will leverage the group's pan-national television network and digital network to drive visibility, awareness and business growth for its clients through innovative advertising and communication formats.
"Network18 is the largest national television news network in the country reaching 23 states. This, combined with the significant audience we aggregate on our digital network, gives us a significant ability to drive our clients' messaging all across the country," Network18 corporate development head Puneet Singhvi said.

SonyLIV ties-up with Pocket Aces for content
Media firm Sony Pictures Networks India's digital platform SonyLIV today tied-up with digital media company Pocket Aces for the latter's content from its channels FilterCopy and Gobble.
"The association will help us in meeting the growing demand for short-form video content and further consolidate our position. We are confident our viewers will enjoy this high-quality addition to our content offerings as well as greater viewing flexibility and convenience that the partnership enables," SonyLIV EVP and digital business head Uday Sodhi in a statement.
Pocket Aces co-founder Aditi Shrivastava said, "We reach over 25 million on a weekly basis through our own pages and have been working with large brand partners to create some very successful content".

Vodafone ties up with Netflix
Second largest telco Vodafone India today partnered with Netflix to offer its premium Red customers the digital streaming player's subscription of up to one year on select plans.
"The partnership will offer Vodafone Red customers a gift of Netflix for up to one year on select tariff plans. New postpaid customers opting for Vodafone Red plans as well as existing Red customers will get Netflix subscription benefits worth Rs 1,000-6,000 based on their plans," it said in a statement.
In addition, Vodafone has entered into a carrier billing partnership with Netflix, which will allow its customers to enjoy the benefit of carrier billing and seamless month-to-month payments within the same bill, Vodafone India commercial director Sandeep Kataria said.
