The new video messaging app, called Wordeo, asks users to write a text message first, and then automatically provides short snippets of moving images and an emotive background to each word that has been written.
The whole process can be completed in under a minute.
Users can also change the images, which the app chooses from the picture library at Getty images, using the 'tweak' function to add their phone's photos.
The tunes and font can also be changed to suit the message.
"Wordeo is an exciting new app for combining video and text to create messages with more emotion," David Bailey, CEO at Wordeo, a UK start-up, was quoted as saying by 'The Daily Star'.
According to 'Engadget', the app gives "satisfying" results but requires a reasonably fast internet connection at every stage and also inevitably exposes your messages to third-party's servers.
