"Politics today requires new ideas, new blood and all this can happen if young minds can join us," Javadekar said at the Women Economic Forum in Goa.
The minister said the BJP-led government has come with a good intention to bid adieu to bad people in politics.
Javadekar, who addressed the meet via video-conference said, it is unfortunate that people think about politics in a bad way and requested people to take it a seriously as "from birth to death, every political decision of the government has its impact on every person' life."
"If good people don't come forward and join politics, bad people will continue to be part of this system," he added.
He further said sadly politics is the only field where people don't retire, voters make them retire in their own way.
"With younger generation, the entire face of politics would be changed," he added.
