New mobile app to help puja revellers track popular pandals

As thousands of revellers hit the streets on Maha Shasthi today, the first day of five-day Durga Puja, a new mobile app 'Pandal Hopper' will help revellers to track different popular pandals in the city on their Android/Apple handsets.
The app 'Pandal Hopper', available on android and Apple phones, provides details of all major pandals in the city and give live updates on traffic information, routes, information about road closures, car parking, police kiosks, ATMs and hospitals.
People can also share pandal information and experience with their family and friends through social media like Facebook with this app link, spokesman of a leading geographic information system (GIS) software and solutions provider firm said. The company has launched the app.

The Pandal Hopper app will help people in cutting down the time and stress in reaching puja pandals and to make the most of the festive season, he said.
The app is available on Android Playstore and Apple Store and can be downloaded for free, he said.
