New Principal Chief Conservator of Forests takes charge in HP

Sushil Srivastav, a 1979-batch Himachal Pradesh cadre officer of Indian Forest Service, has been appointed Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in the state.
He will succeed R K Gupta who retired yesterday.
Srivastav, who assumed charge today, said forestation and survival of plants will be his top priority.
He called upon officers to implement the polices and programmes of the government faithfully and obey its orders.
