New terminal inaugurated at Gorakhpur airport

Union minister Mahesh Sharma today inaugurated a new terminal at Gorakhpur airport here.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion, the Minister of State for Civil Aviation said the terminal constructed at a cost of Rs 23 crore and was completed in 18 months.
He said the Ministry would consider naming it as 'Guru Gorakshnath' and added that flights to Varanasi and Lucknow will be started in future.
