The 67 year-old actor made the announcement via his Instagram page after production of the reboot was complete. In the snap he uploaded, 'Terminator Genisys' can be clearly seen written across on the back of a director's chair that Schwarzenegger is sitting in, reported E! online.
"Hasta la vista, baby. I want to thank the cast and crew of @TerminatorGenisys for a fantastic shoot," the Hollywood legend wrote, who last appeared as the 'Terminator' in 2003's 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines' just before becoming Governor of California.
The upcoming Paramount film also co-stars Emilia Clarke and Jason Clarke as Sarah and John Connor, as well as Jai Courtney, Dayo Okeniyi, Matt Smith, Byung-hun Lee and J K Simmons.
