New writers to join "Transformers" for spin-off, sequels

Director Akiva Goldsman is going to be assisted by a group of writers to develop the fifth sequel of "Transformers" cinematic universe.
Some A-list writers like Obert Kirkman, Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, Zak Penn and Jeff Pinkner may join 52-year-old Goldsman to develop spin-offs and sequels for the franchise, reported Deadline.
The latest installment of the American science fiction film "Transformers: Age of Extinction" grossed nearly USD 1.1 billion.
