Newborn baby girl found dumped behind bushes

A newborn baby girl was found dumped behind bushes near the cancer hospital here, police said today.
The cries of the one-day-old baby attracted the attention of the passers-by who took it to the government hospital yesterday, where the infant is being treated, they said.
The baby would later be taken to a government-approved child care centre, they added.
