Newly constructed hanging foot-bridge collapses
The footbridge is located about five km from Dawki Integrated Check Post.
The exact cause of the collapse is yet to be ascertained, official sources said.
The footbridge located at Shnongpdeng village connects villages like Amkoi, Darrang, in Jaintia Hills district with villages like Wahkdait and others in East Khasi Hills district, Lymba told PTI.
