Newly-wed woman killed, bridegroom injured in road accident

A newly-married woman and her uncle were killed and the bridegroom was injured when their car was hit by a truck in Dadri Kotwali area near Kot Bridge here today.
22-year-old Pavitra and her uncle Sher Singh, 40, died on the spot and three others, including the bridegroom, were injured, police said.
The family, belonging to New Delhi, was returning from Bulandshahr after solemnisation of the marriage of their son Jitender.
The truck hit the car on NH 91 near Kot Bridge, police said.
The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital, according to police.
