Mandeep Kaur, a resident of nearby Sangat Pur village was riding along with her husband when the accident took place in the evening, police said.
Their two-wheeler was hit by a truck, leaving Kaur critically injured. She died on the way to hospital, they said.
Police has registered a case against the truck driver who managed to flee after the accident.
