The black Green Lantern in talks is John Stewart, who appears in the animated "Justice League" and "Justice League Unlimited" series, reported Ace Showbiz.
In the comics, John Stewart debuted in the early 1970s as the backup Green Lantern for Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner. He is an architect and ex-Marine who has a much more rigid personality and worldview than the cocksure and, at times, arrogant Hal Jordan.
Ryan Reynolds previously played Hal Jordan in the 2011 movie "Green Lantern". It's still unknown who will play the new Green Lantern.
